Landshare Colorado was started by Colorado Local Sustainability to help connect gardeners, farmers, and ranchers with gardens or agricultural land that is currently not being used.  While working on the Rocky Mountain Growers Directory, we have met many new farmers, ranchers, and gardeners who are looking for affordable land to grow their own food.  The goal for Landshare Colorado is to help make Colorado land more productive and to make local produce more accessible to all.

Fantastic Farm and Garden Calculator

The Fantastic Farm and Garden Calculator was initially created by Tracy Sweely (co-founder of Colorado Local Sustainability and “Spreadsheet Queen”) as a way to make it easier for us to plan our small CSA farm in Lafayette, Colorado.  After a great deal of time spent compiling the data that makes up the Fantastic Farm and Garden Calculator, and seeing what a useful tool it is for planning a vegetable farm, CSA, or  garden, we decided to make it available to others.  There is a small fee to use the Fantastic Farm and Garden Calculator, and 100% of that fee goes to support LandShare Colorado, and Colorado Local Sustainability.
